ABSTRACT

Introduction: Coronavirus disease (covid-19) is a deadly disease which continues to affects many countries in the world .This study was aimed at assessing the knowledge, attitude and practice from the age of 20 to 35years to receive the covid 19 vaccines in the muea community from the 12^th to 25^th of March 2022

METHOD:A convenience sampling method was used to select the 100 youths who were available at the time of visit of the researcher.

RESULT :The study reveal that

CONCLUSION: The knowledge of youths on Covid-19 vaccine was average though suboptimal. The attitude or perception of youths on the benefits of the vaccine was poor. Less than 1  in every 10 youths had received the covid-19  vaccine. Perception about efficacy and safety of the vaccine and myths and misconceptions were the main reasons advanced by youths for not taking the vaccine.
