CHAPTER ONE

   GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Internship is the achievement of experience in an enterprise and how to throw the idealism of the theory which are better appreciated in the realities of the activities of the enterprise.

It is also an opportunity for a student to examine the level of theoretical notions mastered to rebuild this mastery and also  to have an idea on his or her competence to conceal the theory and to practice in a goal of integration in the professional world by developing one’s own entity or bringing innovations to the current ones .The basis of behind writing  a report during court and chambers attachment is one of the significant fulfillment required to meet up with the law course: COURT IN ACTION ( LAW 496). The internship went on for over four weeks that is from the 2^nd of August to the 2^nd of September, 2022 at PEACE LAW FIRM, situated in Limbe, South West Region Cameroon.

• GENERAL PRESENTATION OF THE FIRM

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF PLACEMENT OF CHOICE

Peace Law Firm was founded by Barrister Asoh Epey Ebai, in the year 2011. It offers legal services; criminal, civil and commercial, just to name a few. Presently having 5 aspirants waiting to sit for the Bar exams. Second office space now situated at Bota road with the former being at coconut island junction.

It is well known for its bilingual nature of legal practice. The Firm has grown broadly and desires to take up all related issues from a single point.

• Reason for my choice of placement.

This internship was carried out from August 2^nd to September 2^nd 2022, at Peace Law Firm Limbe.

It was my choice of placement because of it’s harboring of dynamic lawyers who are specialized with the common law system, as such one could best enhance his /her knowledge from the best set of lawyers.

• ORGANISATION OF THE FIRM

Peace law firm is an organization of lawyers and pupil advocates arranged in hierarchy order. It is made up of about 5 barristers and pupil lawyers. Each barrister has his own office in the chambers.
