The Problem: 

Every year, thousands of Cameroonians are killed or injured in motor accidents around the country. Many of these accidents happen because of one reason or the other. However, either insurance companies who insure the motorist or the motorist themselves never compensate most of these accident victims or their families for their injury. Just a few weeks ago more than 40 people died in a car accident around Yaounde. However, their families will most likely not receive a just compensation for their loss (though no amount of money is capable of paying for life, the law provides for compensation).

Also, as Cameroon strives towards economic emergence by 2035, the industrialization of Cameroon is bound to produce some challenges, foremost amongst which is faulty products produced by companies that imperil the health and safety of Cameroonians. Such products include faulty medical products, faulty skin care products, faulty technological products like phones, laptops, etc.

Lastly, the health care industry in Cameroon is at a critical stage in its development. This is because the private health care sector is growing. With this comes the usual problem of medical malpractice or medical negligence by doctors and nurses that imperil the health of patients. Such patients are entitled to compensation, but rarely get compensated for tortious acts by medical personnel.  

The Solution: 

The solutions that LAWRENCE CONSULTANCY will provide to the problems cited above are simple.  

We will provide legal advice and representation to motor accident victims at all levels of the Cameroonian judicial system. We will enforce their rights against insurance companies, motorists, travel agencies, etc.

For the second problem, we will equally offer advice and representation for victims of faulty consumer

products, in accordance with the Framework Law on Consumer Protection in Cameroon. We will pursue product liability cases through all available legal avenues until our clients are justly compensated for any economic or physical loss.

We will design and develop legal solutions for victims of medical malpractice in Cameroon, whether the perpetrators are in the private health sector or the public health sector.
